Time record
A time record is an Infor term for the record containing the type of pay, hours, and rate an employee is to be paid. Usually, there is a one-to-one relationship that exists between an Infor Software time record and each line written on an employee's time card.
Time records are the basis for an employee's gross wages. Gross wages are calculated for an employee as you add time records based on the employee's salary class, the rate of pay, and the calculation type defined for the pay type specified.
The Teacher Contract Administration application provides three options to create a time record:
Paid by Pay Period |
One time record is created for the pay period. This time record is based on the employee’s potential earnings, which are calculated based on the Pay Period Calculation option selected on Company Contract Rule (CW00.1). |
Earned and Reserve by Pay Period | Two time records per pay period are created, one for the earned hours and wages (determined by the number of work days from the work schedule) and one for the reserve hours and wages (determined by the difference between the paid and earned hours and wages). |
Earned and Reserve by Work Period | An earned and a reserve time record are created for each work period within the pay period. |
Daily Earned and Res by Pay Per | A time record generation option that will allow customers to generate daily earned time records and one reserve time record by pay period. This will allow customers to generate daily overtime for employees tied to the contract rule. |
