About copying a work schedule

The mimic work schedule function of the Teacher Contract Administration application enables you to copy existing date details to a new work schedule.

Not all information from an existing work schedule can be copied to a new one. Some information that is specific to the new work schedule, such as contract start and end date, work start and end dates, pay cycles, standard hours per day and annual units, must be specified and maintained manually.

For example, a full-time teacher works eight hours per day and a part-time teacher works four hours a day in the same school. The date details or work day schedule for both teachers are the same but the standard hours per day are different. Instead of creating another set of date details for the part-time teacher, you can mimic the date details of the full-time teacher and change the standard number of hours.
