Updating benefit salaries

Use this procedure to update the HR11 Benefit Salaries with the employee contract wages. The HR11 Benefit Salaries are alternate salaries that are used by Benefit Administration as the basis for the employees benefit coverage and contribution.

  1. Access Employee Benefit Salary Update (CM102).
  2. Select the header parameters.
  3. Specify this information:
    Benefit Salary

    Flag the Benefit Salary to update with the contracted amount. Each field corresponds to the Employee (HR11.1) Benefit Salary, which will refer to the contracted amount as basis for benefit contribution and coverage calculations.

    Processing Option

    Select a Processing Option for the assignment type to update the Benefit Salary. Only segments with Benefit Salaries that match the flags in CM102 and Pay Code tied to the CM00 Benefit Pay Class are part of the Benefit Salary Amount.

    • 1 - Base Assignments Only – Total Segment Amounts of CM14 records.

    • 2 - Supplemental Assignments Only – full amount of CM15 records.

    • 3 - Base and Supplemental Assignments – both the Segment amounts of CM14 and full amount of CM15 records.

    Report Sequence

    Select how to sort the report.

    Employee Sequence

    Select the order by which the employees are sorted.

    If you do not select a value, then the default employee reporting sequence defined on the Company (HR00.1) form is used.

    Update

    Select whether to update the system with changes and create a report of changes or create a report of changes without updating the system.
