Closing the allocation period

If you selected Closing Control on System Control (GL01.1), then you are required to close the allocation period before you can close General Ledger. Running the program indicates to the system that it has closed the Allocations application.

To close the allocation period, complete these steps:

  1. Access Allocation Closing (CA199).
  2. Specify your job and description.
  3. Run the program for a company or a company group.
