Source hierarchy

The system determines the source, by using this hierarchy:

If only partial information is defined in the compute statement or the override tab, then the system will follow the hierarchy to complete the information.

  1. The system checks to see if there is a compute statement only.
  2. The system looks for a pool (accounting unit only).
  3. If there are no compute statements or pools, or both, then the system looks at the override fields of the allocation for Accounting Unit(s), Account(s), or both, to determine the source.
  4. If there are no overrides, then the system uses the Post From value as the source.
