Interfacing Product Contracts

Product contracts can be created in Billing and Revenue Management by interfacing the information using Product Contract Interface (BR570). This program can create a product contract, product contract comments, and a total deferred revenue amount for the contract. However, it does not create detail lines for a deferred revenue schedule.

Product Contract Interface (BR570) uses product contract details entered on Product Contract Interface Adjustment (BR70.1), Product Interface Cost of Goods Sold (BR70.2), and Product Contract Interface Comments (BR71.1) to create the product contract. After you enter all the relevant information on these forms, run Product Contract Interface (BR570) to create the product contract.

Product Contract Interface (BR570) cannot interface product contracts that have previously been processed in any way. The interfaced product contracts must be new contracts. All product contracts created by Product Contract Interface (BR570) have an unreleased status.
