Journal entries

This appendix provides scenarios for processing billing and revenue using the Billing and Revenue Management application. Each scenario tracks General Ledger and Project Accounting transactions through billing and revenue recognition processing. A brief description is provided for each scenario.

Note: For AC transactions, (c) represents a contract activity and (p) represents a posting activity.

Use this appendix to preview billing and revenue processing options which include billing in advance of revenue recognition, revenue recognition in advance of billing, pass thru, retainer, and retention options, and revenue recognition in excess of billing.
