Transferring Unbilled Transactions To a Different Activity and Account Category

You can transfer one or more unbilled activity transactions from one activity/account category combination to another using Mass Transaction Transfer (BR44.1). You might need to do this if, for example, an employee enters time transactions to the wrong activity and needs to move the transactions to the correct activity. Transactions that have already been billed can not be transferred using BR44.1. Available options for editing calculated billing amounts

Use the following subforms to specify transaction transfer information:

  • Use Filter (BR44.2) to specify criteria for transactions you want to transfer.

  • Use Mass Transfer Information (BR44.3) to specify the activity and account category to which you want to transfer the transactions, and to note a reason code for the transfer.

The transfer process creates two new transactions for every transaction selected for transfer. One new transaction reverses the original transaction, and the second transaction is for the new activity/account category combination. The new transactions are created with a released status, and must be posted using AC190.
