Defining a Maintenance Revenue Schedule

Use this procedure to define a revenue schedule for maintenance associated with a product on a maintenance schedule.

To define a maintenance revenue schedule

  1. Access Maintenance Schedule (BR52.1).
  2. Select the Contract and Schedule from which you will select a product. Select the Inquire form action.
  3. Select the product for which you want to define a maintenance revenue schedule.
  4. On the Product Detail tab, select Revenue to access Product Maintenance Revenue Schedule (BR52.3).
  5. Define the revenue schedule for the product. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Date

    Type the date on which the revenue is eligible to be recognized.

    Amount

    Type the revenue amount that will be recognized by Product Maintenance Revenue Recognition (BR154).

    Status

    Type or select the status of the revenue amount. Only those amounts that are eligible for recognition (by date) and have a status of To Process (1) will be recognized by Maintenance Revenue Calculation (BR154).
