Units of Measure
Units of measure define what is billed for your customers. The units of measure are global and can be used across multiple activities. To bill customers per unit amounts, you must define a unit of measure.
Example 1
SBC uses units of production billing for some contracts. Clients are billed by the day for the trainers. The trainers also get reimbursed for mileage to and from the client's site.
Example 2
SBC may set up a units of production rate table similar to the table below, to define a rate for each unit of measure.
