What are Benefit Categories?
Use benefit categories to further define plans. Categories enable the application to default benefits. Categories are also used for reporting. For example, you can further define employee life plans with the categories life or Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D). You can define a default life plan and a default AD&D plan.
The table below lists the predefined categories.

In addition to the predefined categories available in the Benefits Administration application, you can define your own categories.
