Importing Offers
You must have benefit plan shells set up for ACA regulatory processing.
Use ACA Offers Upload (BN529) to import ACA offers. After the ACA Offers Eligibility CSV (BN729) analysis is validated, the past employee benefit offers that are found on the ACAOFRCSV and EXCOFRCSV files can be imported.
An input file is read by BN529. This input file must be in the work directory or you can use jobdef to define an override path. The default jobdef is set up to import the ACAOFRCSV file. The exception csv file is in the correct format, but you must either rename the EXCOFRCSV to ACAOFRCSV or change the jobdef to use EXCOFRCSV file.
At a minimum, only the best offer benefit coverage plan and a waive plan must be created for ACA regulatory reporting. This feature can also be used for organizations that import benefit offers from an external benefit system. It is required to have benefit plan shells setup for ACA regulatory processing.
Offers can be viewed in ACA Offers (BN29) or reported in the ACA Offers Report (BN229) after running in update mode.
