Creating export report definitions for line items
The export report definition for line items is used to interpret and transfer budget data from the Pillar application's ASCII file to the Lawson General Ledger or Project Accounting application.
- From EB10, select a budget.
 - Click Define Rpt. to show Line item Reports (EB30.1).
 - On EB30.1, click Export Report to show Budget Line Item Export (EB30.3).
 - On EB30.3, specify this information:
           
- Budget Name
 - 
              
Select your budget name.
 - Report Name
 - 
              
Select or specify the line item report name in Budget Architect.
Note: The report name must match the name of the ASCII file that you exported from the Pillar application. For example, if the report name is AU-ACCT-EXPORT, then the ASCII file name is AU-ACCT-EXPORT.ASC. Export report file names must not contain spaces or special characters. - Description
 - Provide a description for the line item report in Budget Architect.
 - Type

              Select the Pillar application's report type. Use these options:
- Asset
 - Liabilities and equity
 - Revenue
 - Expense
 
 - Fiscal Year
 - 
              
Specify the fiscal year for the budget data that you are exporting. This year is embedded in the General Ledger and Project Accounting budgets.
 - Template
 - 
              
Specify the line item report column template. This template defines the columns of a budget line item report.

Note: The template's columns must match exactly the columns in the Pillar application's export file. - Header

Specify whether the first record in the export file contains column headers.
 - Amount Lines

Specify whether the export file contains amount rows.
 - Unit Lines
 - 
              
Specify whether the export file contains unit rows.
 - Rate Lines
 - 
              
Specify whether the export file contains rate rows.
 
 - Click Add or Change to save your selections.
