Importing budget line item data

This chapter contains these procedures for importing information from your Lawson application to the Pillar application.

You can import historical data to your budget application from these Lawson applications:

  • General Ledger

  • Project Accounting

  • Lawson Human Resources

Importing historical information, also referred to as actuals, provides base-level data that you can use in your budget application for bottoms-up budgeting, forecasting, and project or activity-based budgeting.

Budget Architect allows you to import historical information from Lawson to your budget application through the use of budget line item data files.
