Setting security

You can set the security on or off for a particular budget. When security is turned off, any user can access any budget data. When it is turned on, only authorized users can access the budget data.

Use this procedure to turn on or off security.

  1. Click Options from Budget Architect (EB10.1).
  2. Click Security. The Budget Security (EB15.1) form displays.
  3. The top button on the form toggles security on and off. If the button says Turn Security On, then click it to turn on security. If the button says Turn Security Off, then click it to turn off security. The default setting for security is off.
