Closing the Day

Closing the day consists of closing the application, which transfers the journal entries to the general ledger, updating the static aging buckets, and report daily totals. In this procedure, you will learn how to close the day.

Depending on your processing needs, you will need to perform tasks before you can close the day. These tasks are detailed in the following table.
