Adding Intrastat Data to a Transaction
You can add Intrastat data to a transaction when you release the transaction or interface the transaction into Accounts Receivable.
Upon transaction release or interface, Intrastat transaction records are created and eligible for reporting on Intrastat Data Report (IN120).
Before you can add Intrastat data to an Accounts Receivable transaction, the following setup must be complete:
- The Intrastat Indicator field for the tax company must be set to Yes on Company (TX00.1), Intrastate tab.
- Intrastat codes must be defined in the Intrastat application (including country, region, ICN, port, statistical procedure, and nature of transaction). For more information, see Intrastat User Guide.
- Ship Term codes must be defined on Ship Terms (PO02.1).
- To edit Intrastat-based ship terms, there must be a procurement group in the Procurement Group field on Company (AR01.1), Process tab.
- To provide a default value for Intrastat transaction processing, there must be a value in the Nature Of Transaction field on Process Level (AR02.1).
Note: Intrastat data fields also exist in the transaction interface
file, Transaction Interface (AR560). If you
interface transactions, use the fields in the interface tables to
add Intrastat data.
