Write-off transactions at the customer level
- Access Customer Transaction Write Off (AR39.1).
 - Type or select a Company and Customer to inquire on. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
           
- Display Order
 - 
              
Select the order in which transactions display. The default Display Order option is defined for the company in Company (AR01).
 - Currency Display
 - 
              
You can select to display transaction amounts in base currency or transaction currency.
 - Write-Off Post Date
 - 
              
This is the date used for posting to the General Ledger system.
 
The customer's (or national account's) open transactions (invoice, debit memos, and credit memos) are displayed.
 - Select one or more transaction by entering a reason code, and specify the amount to be written off or allow the open amount as the write off amount.
           
Write-off type adjustments are created by entering a valid reason code and an adjustment amount, on one or more detail lines, with a Change form action.
 - Click the Filter button to access the Selection Criteria subform to customize your display parameters.
 - Click the Comments button to access Customer Comments to define and maintain them.
