Attribute

An attribute is a Lawson-defined or user-defined field used to track additional information not predefined by the application field. Attributes are used to group or categorize records for reporting, inquiry, or processing.

Attributes can be specific to:

  • An accounting unit or account (GL, IC, PO)

  • A cash code (CB)

  • A customer (AR, OE, BL, WH)

  • A vendor (AP, MA, PO)

  • An asset (AM)

  • A lease (LM)

  • An item (IC, PO, OE, WH, WO)

  • An activity (AC)

  • A user analysis (SL)

  • A transaction (AC, GL, ML, or SL).

Attributes are Lawson-defined or user-defined.
