Overriding annual depreciation

During the last period of the year, the Asset Management application gives you the option to override the annual depreciation calculated by the system. This option is applied by asset book and company on an asset-by-asset basis. This procedure outlines the process for overriding the annual depreciation.

Override the annual depreciation

  1. Access Annual Depreciation Override (AM60.1).
  2. Select the book and company you want to override annual depreciation for in the Book and Company fields.
  3. Select the L (Load) or I (Inquire) form action to bring up the assets for the book and company specified.
  4. Select the C (Change) line action in the FC (Line Action) field.
  5. Specify an override amount for each asset you want to override in the Override field.
  6. Select the C (Change) form action to complete the overrides.
