This table presents an overview of the reporting and online analysis methods provided with Project Accounting. You can find details about each of these methods in the succeeding chapters.

Running standard reports | Reports give you a printable record of your activity data, which can be as comprehensive or as narrow in scope as you want it to be. Reports are more complicated to set up and require several processing steps. You can save reports. | See Running standard reports |
Using Transaction Writer | The Transaction Writer program lets you define transaction reports that list transaction detail for an activity group list, activity group, activity, activity list, or account category. You can select which transactions to include in the report, which transaction attribute fields to include, and how the transactions are organized and totaled.
