Optional procedure: producing a subtotal or total

You can produce a subtotal or total for specific fields. For example, you sort transactions by account category within activity and produce subtotals for the transaction amount by account category within activity. To produce a subtotal or total, you must do these tasks:

• Include the field or fields as sort criteria on the Sort tab.
• Select Y - Yes in the Total Break field on the Layout tab for each field.

• Select Y - Yes in the Count Total field to indicate which columns are totaled when subtotals and grand totals are produced.
