Viewing data through the Drill Around feature

You can use the Drill Around feature to view data without having to transfer to the form or forms where that information is maintained. It is an especially useful feature if you do not want to access a different application form and want to view data that is related to one of the fields on the current form.

  1. Right-click in a field that lets you use the Drill Around feature and choose select, or select the Drill icon.
  2. Click Explorer View to open the Drill Explorer.
  3. Expand folders in the Drill Around form by clicking the folders.
  4. Continue clicking folders until the data you want to view is displayed in the right pane or, when Detail icons is displayed, click these to view the data associated with them in the right pane.
