To map Drill Around using the Map Drill Around menu option

  1. Open the Excel worksheet containing Infor Lawson data you want to drill on.
  2. Click the Infor Lawson button on the Add-ins tab, then select Infor Lawson Map Drill Around.
  3. Log in to the Infor Lawson Add-ins.

    The Map Spreadsheet window appears. Click OK to move to the Mapping Format window.

  4. Double-click the product line, system code, and form that you want to map the worksheet to. The worksheet must contain data that resides in the product line and form that you choose.

    After you select a form, a list of key fields for the form appears.

  5. Optionally, select additional drillable fields from the Select Drill Around list.

    To remove a field from the list, click Remove Drill Field.

  6. Click a field in the Fields list, and then click Select Range. The message "This field is already mapped. Do you want to map it again?" appears.
  7. Click Yes.
  8. When the message "Do you want to copy the information in the current range?" appears, click No.

    A dialog box appears, asking you to choose a range.

  9. In the worksheet, click the cell in the first row containing data of the column you are mapping. The cell information appears in the dialog box. Specify a colon, then click in the last row containing data of the column you are mapping. The cell information appears in the dialog box field. Click OK.
  10. Repeat steps 5 through 8 for each drillable field you want to map.
  11. To start using the Drill Around feature, click Drill.

    The Drill Around window appears with a list of available drills

  12. Click a drillable item to see the detail associated with it.
