Absence Plan Hours Allocation (LP34.1)
Use Absence Plan Hours Allocation (LP34.1) to allocate vacation hours that are bought or sold in a Benefit plan across potentially multiple Absence Management employee master records within the absence plan.
A record is automatically created based on the first employee absence management record found for the absence plan when an employee enrolls in a vacation buy/sell plan. You can enter additional records to split the election among multiple master records (based on group or position).
Troubleshooting
To retain an audit trail of mid-year changes to hours allocations made on LP34.1, you should stop and re-add the benefit as of the date the new allocation is effective, then create/adjust the LP34.1 records as needed as of this new date. (The prior allocations remain in place for the original start date.)
If the change is made to the existing records (with original start date), then the original allocation is lost, and LP138 may recalculate and adjust the absence plan balances for the entire flex year according to the new allocation.
