Labor Distribution Template Additional Information (GM10.3)
Use Labor Distribution Template Additional Information (GM10.3) to view estimated salary information for a labor distribution detail line. You can also enter fringe encumbrance override information and optional user analysis values for the distribution.
- Use Estimated Gross Pay to view amounts from the employee's pro-rated annual salary. This information is not available until the labor distribution detail line has been added.
- Use Fringe Encumbrance Overrides to determine if an override fringe rate should be encumbered on salaries. The override fringe information overrides employee fringe rates.
- If you select Yes in the Calculate field, Salary Encumbrance Processing (GM110) calculates fringe encumbrances. If you do not specify override information, GM110 uses the rate, account category and account from the employee file (Employee Grant Management (HR11.3)). If you enter an override rate, account category, and account, GM110 uses the information you entered in Fringe Encumbrance Overrides and ignores the encumbrance rate, account category and account in the employee file. If you enter some override information on GM10.3, it is used. For any blank fields on GM10.3, GM110 reverts to the employee file data. For example, you enter a rate on GM10.3 but no account category or account, GM110 uses the rate from GM10.3, and the account category and account from the employee file.
- Use GL Account allows to enter an optional user analysis value for the account you entered for the distribution detail line on GM10.2. The user analysis value is populated in payroll distribution records created during Payroll Close (PR197).
