Award (GM01.1)
Use Award (GM01.1) to define and maintain detailed grant award information. You can download award information from a pre-award system, or manually enter the information.
Some of the award information is specific to your organization, such as the title of the division completing the research. You define your organization-specific information on Codes (GM02.1). Codes must be defined before any award setup can be completed.
Additional award information includes sponsor information and award dates.
Note: Each new award requires its own activity structure. The activity
structure must exist in before you can complete the
award setup.
Note: The Actual Award Close field is a display field only, and is updated
by a status change on the grant activity (to inactive or purge). If the activity
is re-opened, the close date is not removed. And if the activity is then closed
again, the first Actual Award Close date remains.
