Time Dimension Definition (IA80.1)

Use Time Dimension Definition (IA80.1) to define the parameters for the time dimension of your data mart. After you have defined your parameters, you can select Adjustments to change their default settings such as data consolidations and member names.

For Purchase Order (PO) and Lease Management (LM) data marts, the valid parameters are Years, Quarters, and Periods.

For Sales Performance (SA) and Production Order (WO) data marts, the valid parameters are Years, Quarters, and Periods.

Process at a Glance

  1. Load the preassigned data mart types.
  2. Create an OLAP destination.
  3. Define the data mart.
  4. Define the dimensions for the data mart.
  5. Define the information transfer profile.
  6. Load the data mart.
Time Parameters
You must select Y (Yes) for at least one parameter.

For the parameters you select, select the corresponding button to define the parameter. For example, if you select Yes for Periods, select Periods to define the number of periods and the beginning balance member.
