Company Group (GL11.1)

Use Company Group (GL11.1) to define and maintain a company group. A company group is a group of multiple companies. You can use a company group to post in Journal Posting (GL190), close periods using Period Closing (GL199), and create financial reports for analysis. When you post or close a company group, all companies included in the group are posted and closed.

For example, LGE Conglomerate has three individual companies with the same base currency that post and close at the same time. You can define a company group to process and consolidate each companies balance into LGE Conglomerate.
