Interbudget Relationships (FB35.1)

Use Interbudget Relationships (FB35.1) to define and maintain interbudget relationships. An interbudget relationship identifies the interbudget payable and receivable accounts used to post balancing transactions from one budget to another. The General Ledger system uses the relationships to create balancing entries when you release an intrabudget journal entry. You must establish interbudget relationships for the from budget and the to budgets used in a budget journal entry.

When an interbudget transaction occurs and debits an account in the from budget, the system will use the payable account to balance the entry. When an interbudget transaction occurs and credits an account in the from budget, the system will use the receivable account to balance the entry.
