Beginning with 11.3.1 HF29, customers can now add the ‘OPTIMIZE FOR’ query hint
in DWD’s automated code generation. They can also create and maintain the SQL option
variables that are used for these hints. ‘OPTIMIZE FOR’ directs the query optimizer to
use a specific SQL option variable value during query optimization but not during
query execution. |
