Stopping a long-running ETL Job

You can automatically stop a long-running ETL Job if it exceeds a specific runtime. The runtime is based on the ETL job’s average runtime plus a specified number of minutes.
Note: ETL jobs run for the first time will not automatically stop because the average runtime has not been established.
  1. In the Menu bar, click Administration > General Options.
  2. In the Job Monitoring pane, select the Stop ETL running jobs after check box.
  3. Specify the number of minutes. This is the number of minutes that will be added to the average runtime.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Open Background Jobs to verify that DWD Job Monitoring is running.
