Set default column values for exception records

Follow these steps to assign default values to the columns of an exception record:

  1. On the DWD Designers tab, right-click Dimension Table > Detailed Properties > Columns.
  2. On the Object Properties window, double-click on a column to view properties.
  3. On the Column Properties window, specify a value on the Default Column Value and click OK.
  4. On the Object Properties window, click Apply and click OK.
  5. Recompile the Dimension Table.
