Personalizing the Dictionary Structure
Follow the steps below to customize the dictionary structure.
Personalize the dictionary structure

From the menu bar, select Metadata > Edit Dictionary
Structure to open the Edit Dictionary Structure window.
Note:
You may also open the Edit Dictionary Structure window by selecting the Dictionary tab and right-clicking the dictionary name.
The left pane contains the existing dictionary structure. The right pane is your work space for creating a new structure.
- Select a user.

Select a node or folder in the existing structure
(left pane) so the contents appear in the work space (right pane).

Use the buttons on the right to Cut, Copy, Paste, Add a New Folder, Edit, and Delete items

If needed, add a New Folder and rename it by double-clicking the words New Folder. This opens the folder options dialog where you can enter the new name and select an icon.
For example, to copy an object into a new folder:
- Select the folder containing the object to be copied. The object should appear in the work space along with the other contents of the folder.
- Select the object and click the copy button.
- Select the new folder in the tree. Its contents appears in the work space.
- Click the paste button to paste the object into the new folder.

- Click Apply and OK to save the changes.
