Run the Maintenance and Repair Wizard

  1. On the DWD Designer, click DWD Solution > Maintenance Tasks.
  2. Click Start the Maintenance & Repair Wizard in the Maintenance Tasks screen.
    Note: 

    You can also open this wizard by clicking Administration > Wizard > Maintenance and Repair.

  3. Click Next to open the wizard.
  4. Select the required depth of troubleshooting analysis:

    • General - checks system and object properties, and then synchronizes repository properties

    • Medium - performs general check plus syntax mapping update

    • Deep - performs medium check plus complete rebuilding of cross reference maps

    • Custom - allows you to customize your system check

  5. Click Finish to open the Maintenance and Repair Console.
  6. Select the desired maintenance tasks.
    Note: 

    Click a task to view its description.

  7. Click the green arrow to run the selected tasks.

    When all tests are run, DWD reports that the repository has been checked.

    Note: 

    If the Maintenance and Repair Wizard encounters any errors, use the task below to resolve them.
