Implementing Source Tables

Perform this procedure to activate columns in a table.

Implement source tables

  1. Click the Data Sources tab.
  2. Double click the data source you want to use on the left pane.
  3. On the right pane, right-click a table, then click Properties.
  4. Click Views > Columns.
  5. Select the columns you want to activate.

    - or -

    To activate all columns, click Column Tasks > Make all columns active.

  6. Click OK.
  7. Compile the object to implement the changes you made.

    On the left pane, right-click the table whose columns you activated, then click Compile.

    - or -

    To compile all objects in the data source, right-click the data source, then click Compile all objects.

  8. Click Start Compile.

    Changes are now applied to the table you modified.

    Compiled objects are marked with circled check marks.
