Exporting Designers

Perform the steps below if you want to export Designers such as Composers, Normalizers, Mergers, Denormalizers, and Splitters.

Note:

To avoid problems using this feature, create a different system category for each source system.

Export designers

Select Metadata > Export Metadata from the menu bar. The Export Metadata Wizard opens.
Select Designers, then click Next.
Select one of the following options:
- Export objects or a specific object type
- Select objects to export
  
  Note:
  If you select this option, you can expand the tree view and check the objects you want to export.
Click OK.
Click Next.
Click No to proceed.

Note:
Click Yes if you want to combine metadata into one file to export.
Specify Execution Options and specify a storage path.

Click Next.
Click Finish.
