View background jobs

Use the steps below to run background jobs in full or stepped mode.

  1. From the menu bar, select Execution > Background Jobs.
  2. Filter jobs as needed by:

    • Running

    • Failed

    • Completed

    • Waiting

    • Regular Jobs Only

    • Parallel Jobs Only

    Note: 

    When Parallel Jobs Only is checked, statistics of the currently selected Multithreaded Job will be displayed that shows statistics for Extraction, Transformation, Dimension Loading, and Fact Loading. This option is only available on the DWD profile where the multithreaded jobs were created.

  3. Use the following to view and run jobs:
    Double-click a job

    Double-click a job to view the job history.

    Highlight a job

    Highlight a job to:

    • run the job

    • stop the job

    • view the steps of the job

    • delete the job

    Note: Update Monitor is not checked or enabled by default.
