Run an ETL Job

  1. On the DWD Designer Solution tab, expand the ETL Jobs Overview node.
  2. Right-click the job on the New pane, then select Start Job. The ETL job starts and the job name moves into the Now Running pane.

When the job completes successfully, the job name moves into the Successfully Completed pane.

Note: If the job fails, the job name moves into the Failed or Cancelled pane. Double-click the job name to open the job history.
  3. If you are using Microsoft SQL Server 2014 or Microsoft SQL Server 2016 as your database engine and the job runs at an unusually slow pace, you can change your Microsoft SQL Server compatibility level.
    1. Select File > Preferences.
    2. On the General tab, change the SQL Compatibility level on the lower left part of the window.
