Create a new data mart system

Create a new data mart system to use the linked data mart server connection.

Note: 

You can also edit an existed data mart system to use the linked data mart server connection.

  1. Select the Data Warehouse tab.
  2. Right click Data Marts and Models and select new Data Mart.
  3. Configure the data mart system using the linked data mart server connection.
    System name

    Enter the linked data mart name.

    System Type

    Select Data Mart from the drop-down list.

    Data Mart Database

    Select the linked data mart database from the drop-down list.

  4. Click OK.
  5. Compile and execute the dimension and fact tables in the Linked Data mart.
  6. Compile the model. For more information these steps, see Working with compiled models.
  7. Execute the ETL model. For more information, see Working with ETL Jobs.
