Configure the Distributed Transaction Coordinator

Complete the following steps on both the repository and data mart servers.

  1. In Windows Services, ensure the Distributed Transaction Coordinator service is started.
  2. In Windows, navigate to Administrative Tools > Component Services.
  3. On the Console Root navigation tree, expand Component Services > Computers > My Computer > Distributed Transaction Coordinator.
  4. Right click Local DTC and select Properties.
  5. Select the Security tab and check the following:

    • Allow Remote Clients

    • Allow Inbound

    • Allow Outbound

  6. Click OK.
