Set the Maximum Memory Grant Percentage in DWD

Creating columnstore indexes with a large number of columns has a high memory allocation requirement. The REQUEST_MAX_MEMORY_GRANT_PERCENT value must be set in SQL Server. Users can change this setting in DWD Administration options:

  1. On DWD Designer, access Administration > Options.
  2. Under the Repository Properties tab, expand the Repository Options folder.
  3. Expand the Design folder, and select Maximum Memory Grant.
  4. Double-click the row property field and type the percentage value. The maximum value is 100.
