Extract object data

Note:

If the extraction takes longer than ten minutes, execution halts.

If this happen, execute in the background (same menu: Execute by Background Job). Background jobs may be more efficient for larger databases held on other servers.

  1. Right-click the object and select Execute > Now!
  2. Optionally, after a data source object has been compiled and the extraction completed, right-click the object and select Browse Data to open and examine the object data table.
Note: If a different user executes the source object, an Access Denied message appears pointing to the error log file path of the Source object that cannot be deleted. This error appears when another user logs in on the Server and performs Immediate execution. If execution fails, Extraction of the object will fail on ETL job.

This feature is available to DWD 11.3.1.
