System Connections and Data Sources Overview

The Data Source tab is the work space for all the source objects that will be used to create the data marts.

All source objects (tables, views, text files, and excel spreadsheets) are categorized by a System Name. All objects under the same System Name will share common connection information.

You can either load Lawson or M3 application metadata at server setup time. Or, at any time, you can connect to different source systems to explore metadata and import what is relevant for your solution.
