Installing Database Settings Using a Fastload Script

Perform this procedure if you selected the Fastload option for database setup.

Note: 

When installing a fastload script exported from a lower version to a version with schema changes, the Server Setup prompts the user that the fastload script cannot be installed properly.

In this case, you must upgrade the source profile and re-export the fastload script and restart the installation.

Install database settings using a Fastload script:

  1. Specify the location of the script that you will run.

    You can click the folder button to browse for the location of the file.

  2. To update the content of the DWD server, click these:

    • Update Database Prefixes and Server name

    • Update Object Status and Process (SSIS packages) names

    Click Next.

  3. Select whether to use the defined prefix or to change it.
  4. If you selected to change the prefix, specify a new prefix.

    Click OK.

    The prefix you specified will also be the name for the profile you are creating.

    Click Next.

  5. Click Close.
