Note: You must select a company and an effective date to successfully create a contract rule.

Processing Effect

Data in a contract rule serve as basis for other contract management applications in generating time records, handling contract payout calculations, setting pay codes for contract payouts, setting pay classes for contract reporting, setting default day codes for the work schedule creation, and defining rounding methods for the contract’s full and prorated units and dollar amounts.

A contract rule may be updated at anytime; however it is recommended that you update between contract years and add a new contract rule with a new effective date to make auditing easier.
