Savings Bond Purchase Sequence (BN48.2)
Use Savings Bond Purchase Sequence (BN48.2) to view a sequence of owners, co-owners, and up to 12 beneficiaries in which bonds are purchased.
Note: When you run Savings Bond Update (BN140) to purchase bonds,
the application will only use a sequence number with the same effective date
as the bond enrollment. Therefore, it is better to change the original Savings
bond purchase for an employee than to add a new one.
More Information
Bonds cannot be purchased for an employee until at least one sequence has been defined for the employee.
For example, an employee wants to purchase bonds for herself, her spouse, and her two children, in that order. To purchase bonds in this sequence, define sequence records, one for each person beginning with the employee.
