Item Update Adjustment Interface (AM551)

Run Item Update Adjustment Interface (AM551) to import asset item records from a non-Lawson application to existing assets and items in the Asset Management application. AM551 interfaces the asset item records from the Lawson Asset Item Interface file (AMASSETINV) (UNIX/Windows) or (DBAMITN) (IBM i) and moves them to the Asset Management application, where the asset records become unreleased adjusted assets.

It is required that the non-Lawson item file is imported into AMASSETINV (UNIX/Windows) or DBAMITN (IBM i) before you can run this program and the assets for which you are adding items must also exist in a released state.

AM551 creates two reports: the interface record and an error report. If a record generates an error, it appears in the error report. You can review the error report and then correct the record on Item Update Adjustment Maintenance (AM51.1).
