Move Detail Account Category (AC08.7)
Use Move Detail Account Category (AC08.7) to change the position of a detail account category in the account category structure. You can move a detail account category under a summary account category of the same type within the structure. The new "parent" summary account category must not have any summary account categories assigned to it.
More Information
The Effective Date field is required if there are any transactions, commitments or budgets related to the detail account category you are moving. If none exist, then the Effective Date field must be blank.
If the Effective Date is required, run Structure Reorganization (AC108) to update the old and new parent summary account category balances, and to update the related transactions with the new summary account category information.
