Resource (AC03.1)

Use Resource (AC03.1) to define and maintain a resource code and general information for a person, employee, vendor, asset, or equipment that is a source of an activity's costs, revenues, or units. A resource is assigned to an activity to track information such as the source of cost, employee hours worked, and the specific elements that consist of the activity. You must define a resource code before you can associate the resource with an activity.

You define employee, vendor, and asset resources in the Human Resources, Accounts Payable, and Asset Management applications, respectively.
